Though neither site features the graphic novel “The Watchmen” by Alan Moore the two do have a nice cross-section of comics from a variety of publishers .

On Youtube, you can watch the Watchmen motion comic. Kind of neat.
If you want to read “The Watchmen” for free and legally, get out of the house and see if any public library near where you live has a copy. Quite a few libraries do own a copy, because several universities offered courses that used the graphic novel as a text book which made it respectable enough for thousands of public libraries to decide to include it in their holdings. Actually, you might be able to check the holdings of all of the libraries in your area via the internet, so you may not have to go outside.
