What is the best program to color comic books fast?

I have a published comic book and I’m adding more issues to. Thing is I’m trying a online comic comunity named drunk duck to promote and crtique it. I just really began coloring in the computer and I have been using the Paint program that colors chunks of area, but I have to go over it cover too many holes it leaves. This takes hours. I tried photo paint and that’s slow too. Is there a faster way to color? I’m really looking for free or a bargan program, but if it’s really good I’ll try it.

Sorry, no idea but I did have a question -I’ve come up with a idea for a comic book myself (well, it’s like a tool for helping students learn languages) and was wondering what kind(s) of programs you’d recommend for me to start it up?

If you don’t expect much financial returns from your work online, you must enjoy the work and drawing with Paint, is, at best!
You could get better quality downloading trial versions of any good drawing program..Macramedia,Adobe…
Go to Cnet.com and you might a full older version or freeware!
You might find the creation process more enjoyable! Good Luck!
